HOT CHICKS FRIED CHICKEN

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken breasts or 12 chicken thighs
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon Falcon and Flash Hot Chicks (use more for extra heat)
  • ½ cup vegetable oil (if using Oven Method)
  • salt and pepper

 


 

Preparation

  1. Add the eggs (whites and yolk) and milk to a wide, shallow bowl. Whisk the eggs until evenly mixed, salt and pepper to taste

  2. Add the flour and Falcon and Flash Hot Chicks to large plate, mixing the ingredients and spreading evenly across the plate

  3. Dip the chicken into the egg mixture, allowing the excess egg mixture to drip off, removing the extra egg mixture will keep the flour dry.  Immediately place dredge the chicken in the flour, making sure to cover the entire chicken. Repeat this step for every piece of chicken.

OVEN

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Pour the oil into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. Add the coated chicken to the baking dish. Sprinkle additional Falcon and Flash Hot Chicks on to the chicken for extra heat. 
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, then turn pieces over and bake for another 30 minutes.
  5. While chicken is cooking, line a large plate or platter with two to three layers of paper towels
  6. Remove the chicken from oven and place on paper towel lined plate.
  7. Enjoy!

DEEP FRYER

  1. Heat oil to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Place 1 layer of coated chicken into the fryer basket and lower into preheated oil.
  3. After 15-20 minutes use meat thermometer to check internal temperature.  Chicken is done once golden brown and 180 degrees F (82 degrees C).  
  4. Drain chicken on paper towel lined plate.
